Social norms profoundly shape how gender determines access to resources, roles, and responses in the face of climate change. Women and marginalized groups often bear the brunt of environmental crises, yet their crucial contributions to climate solutions remain undervalued. We urgently need to bridge this gap by integrating gender-responsive approaches into climate resilience efforts, especially across sectors like health, livelihoods, social security and energy.
Launched in 2023, Intersection is SA-SNALC’s flagship platform, designed to connect leading thinkers and changemakers from diverse sectors. Together, we explore innovative strategies to challenge entrenched social norms and drive transformative change.
At Intersection 2025, we will engage in path breaking conversations on these dynamics, bringing together experts to discuss climate-smart, socially inclusive solutions.
Join us in New Delhi on January 22, 2025, and be part of this critical dialogue by registering here.
